Dear members and supporters;

We will not be able to hold the conference in Amman, Jordan as originally planned. Instead, we will hold it in Geneva, Saturday and Sunday , October 7 and 8 . Geneva affords more freedom of speech and better administrative assistance than Amman.

The conference will be held at the “Maison des Association”, 15, rue des Savoises-1205 Genève, where our association has an office, together with more than 40 other socio-political associations, most of them support our endeavor.

There are computers for use of the attendees at this site – free of charge.

There is a decent 3-star hotel within 5 minute walk from the building. We have a group arrangement with them . The charge is about 100 Swiss Francs ( 70 Euros) per night for a single room. The hotel is :

What should we call upon the Palestinian people and authority to do?

Papers

If you would like to present a paper, please inform me of your intention , and send me an abstract of about 200 words before August 15. 20 minutes will be allowed for the presentation and discussion. If a presenter is unable to attend, the paper can be read for him in absentia. Presentations can be in Arabic, English or French.

Our association is self –supportive ,receives no outside financial assistance , and will not be able to reimburse attendees for their expenses. However, I hope you can attend, as it is very important that we exchange ideas and get to know each other.
